Well, now that I just finished up replacing my transfer case in my truck I can tow my trailer again. So we booked our first trip of the year. We're staying at Four Seasons in Pilesgrove. Has anyone been there? I've heard it's nice. We're going Memorial Day weekend. Last edited on Sun Apr 19th, 2009 04:01 pm by LoudRam

It's actually pretty close to where I live. I've driven past it and it looks more like a residential trailer park than a campground. Hasn't exactly gotten good reviews on rvparkreviews.com either. We'll be just a few miles away that weekend at Tall Pines/Yogi Bear in Elmer.

We tried Yogi but they were full. That's always our first choice. Woodalls gave it a decient rating, the same rating as Yogi. I guess we'll see. I'll let you know what I think of it. I'll check out your link. Thanks for posting it.
This is our second year camping so I've only stayed at two CG's. Yogi and Western Village in Carlisle PA so I don't have much to compare it to. Western Village is where I stay when I go to the Carlisle car shows.
Thanks for the insight Don.
EDIT: I just checked out your link. The latest review is from 2007. I hope they changed since those reviews were written. Because of the comments we're taking a trip down there tomorrow to preview our site. We'll see what they look like then. Thanks again for the link.

No problem. I use rvparkreviews all the time. It's user run and all the reviews are written by campers. I've posted a couple reviews myself. Same screen name there if you want to look them up.

Well, we took a drive to Four Seasons. As old as they were, the reviews are still accurate. The place looked run down and the roads we horrible. We saw our sites and we both said "no way".
As soon as we got home we canceled our reservations at Four Seasons. We called Yogi again but they only had one site open. We need two because my bro-in-law and his family are coming with us. So we called Whippoorwill. The reviews were really good and my Mom has stayed there and she said it was nice. I'm now excited again.
Don, Thanks again for the link. You just stopped us from making a big mistake. I'm bookmarking that site as soon as I'm done typing this.

We have stayed there. Melissa and Don ru na tight ship. Lots of sand in sites and road, decent ppol, they do a big movie screen at night for everyone outside. No grass besides field, and your babies may come back dirty from the sand....
