Hello Everyone,

As I just shook and added more coal to the coal stove.  I am thinking of starting to schedule our 2009 camping season.  We want to go to Castaways in Ocean City, MD and maybe even a trip to the NJ Shore as well.  Everything else is open.

I didn't know if anyone has started to make a meet and greet for next year since it is early yet, but you never know.

Enjoy the rain today, it is suppose to snow tomorrow!

Dan

We are looking ahead and hoping it comes quick and that our situation improves by then.  We have had a very strange year and very nerve racking year and although I have not been able to monitor the site as I would like (time has not permitted me to) I am working on getting someone to monitor until I can.

Didn't want everyone to think I abandoned them!  LOL

My husbands job functions changed and he is the trainer for the company now and they have me doing customer service work for them as well so between scheduling all his trips out of town and all his work here I have been doing many other things for them as well .........

I have also had my step father in and out of hospitals and nursing /rehab homes since Aug and he is not doing very well...so any free time I have had I take my mother up there everyday to see him. I also have to take him to all his doctor appts and run all his errands (paying bills, getting things he needs from the store etc..)its not left me much time to do anything....I haven't even been able to do my christmas shopping ......

We are open to making some plans ahead so we can actually do some meeting up this year ...as soon as the weather breaks which will hopefully be by March end....beginning of april we will be starting our camping again.   We did plan to do several trips this winter too but with everything going on we knew we couldn't so we just winterized.

Hoping we can all meet up in the spring!!

We are working on our schedule as well. We have booked Frontier Town in August (i think, have to check with my scheduler) I know we are going to Knoebels first or second weekend in May as well. They have a nice campground, only electric, but you can walk to the park....

I am off between Christmas and New Years, so I was going to sit down with the wife and schedule our camping schedule. I know we want to go to Castaways in Ocean City, MD (actually Berlin, MD) but close enough.

We only live about 1/2 hour from Knobels, we would like to go camping there as well. Let us know when you are going and maybe we can get a site next to each other. They have a watering location and a dump station, so a blue tote is going to be underneath the Christmas Tree for me. lol Going to the park and just hanging out relaxing sounds like fun to me. One day we will do the water park (rides) and the next the park.

The only thing about early May is no crystal Springs..... I just love the cleanliness of the park though and everyone is friendly!

We just planned our first vacation week for next summer. June 21-28 at Hershey Highmeadow. MrsRev and I are foster parents so we could have as few as one child or as many as four along with our 23y/o daughter. Any meet-ups possible?

My problem is that I'm a pastor. I don't get to just go away on the weekends. Sunday is my primary workday of the week. I do get vacation time, but I can't just up and go every weekend, unfortunately.

We're looking at August for a second week of vacation, maybe to Williamsburg, Va.

We'll be there the same week! How cool! Anyway, we were lucky enough to call not long after there was a cancellation for a waterfront site. We're really looking forward to this trip, never been there before and got the waterfront site.

Just planned a weekend getaway for Memorial day weekend. Had to stay close to home so I could come back and preach on Sunday morning. We'll be at Yogi Bear Tall Pines in Elmer.
