We would love to meet some more of you and get some nice trips in

some suggestions would be:

Jersey Shore Area

Washington's Crossing area

Delaware or Maryland

 Lancaster area

We have several consecutive weekends booked in the fall at Eagle's Peak in Robesonia, PA (near Lancaster/Hershey). We do their "gas saver" plan and leave our camper on the same site for $15.00 for the week and then pay for the weekends...all of September is discount camping! Our first weekend out is September 12-14, which is also the Hershey RV show weekend, and we are leaving the camper there until Columbus Day weekend (a Halloween weekend). The weekend of the RV show is pj weekend, if you donate a new pair of childrens pjs, you get a free night of camping!

OH Thanks....We will be there!!!   We were just talking to someone about when the show is and want to go...so does my brother and family (they are looking at RV's) TT actually......and we were just not 20 minutes ago saying we had to go online and see when the next show was .  My cousin told him the Hersey one was coming up and we said we wanted to do it...better gets Reservations now!!

Thanks again.....talk about Dej'vu (did I spell that right LOL) :) no matter you know what I mean!  Is that the best / closest place to stay for the RV show? We would most likely be doing Hersey too.

Highmeadow is the closest, but I don't know about getting reservations there this late. Eagle's Peak is about a 40 minute drive to Hershey. Just a word of caution. We had free tickets to Hershey last year and we decided to use them the weekend of the RV show...BIG mistake! The shortest line was 45 minutes long for a little rocket type ride! The lines for the roller coasters were 2+ hours long! We only made it on 3 rides before we called it quits...It just was not worth waiting in line for hours for one ride. The deals at the show are great. We bought our first RV at the show when it was still held in Harrisburg.

I had a feeling it would be difficult to find a site somewhere.  The RV show gets packed!  Eagle's Peak is a nice cg.  We camp there several times every year.  I booked our site back in February.  I have a few favorite sites, so I wanted to make sure I got a good one.

Weekends are a little tough for me as I'm a pastor and I work every Sunday. We're looking at getting out at least one more time before school starts for the kids again. Probably a couple of weekdays near us, maybe Yogi Bear in Elmer.

Yes Blue Knob S.P.is in Pa. It is near Altoona. Unfortunately we had to cancel as my father in law goes in for hernia surgery today. Oh well there will be another time.

He is doing very well. Doctor says he is better than most 20 year olds who go through the same thing. Oh yeah he had NO stitches and no restrictions from day one of the surgery. Really neat how they improve things over time. I was off 6 weeks with my hernia surgery.

Yes things get moving along quick now. Even surgeries where you were in the hospital for a week is now outpatient surgery most of the time.

My brother just had a triple hyernis with outpatient surgery!
