Has anybody ever been to Seaport Campground http://www.seaportcampground.com/  in Connecticut?

We are going to a PBR event at Mohegan Sun  October 18...and its pretty tough finding a campground open that time of year.  I priced a room at Days Inn for 2 night was almost $300!

So perfect reason to get another weekend camping.

We stayed there. It's owned by Morgan resorts, who has become the premier campground owner, just not the premier campground maintainer! Place was clean, sites are some gravel and grass. We had fun last Halloween weekend there last year. I would go again. There was only one dump station.

Due to gas prices...we're "probably" gonna tent this trip.  Dont suppose you happen to take notice of the tent sites?

As its really the only one up there thats open...its a give me that we're going to stay there...just curious what we're in for....

PBR weekend come and gone.  Gotta tell ya...it got COLD this weekend...37degrees Saturday evening

the campground wasnt  bad at all...they gave us a trailer site which was fine...Electric and water...there are 2 dumpstations by the way.  Our back-in site was a decent size...although noticed that the pull thru sites alternated sides so if you didnt know the folks next to you it could be pretty "friendly".    Pretty clean...we've already discussed taking the daughters and trailer up in the summer...

Only took 3 hours to get there...lot quicker that i expected.
