Don't go to this place!! That about sums up my opinoin of the place. Its in NY State
We booked reservations well in advance.....we specifically asked about amenitites for the kids as we had my two nephews with us and wanted to make sure they had a goodtime (it was one of thems first camping experience) anyway when we checked in it was late...the site they put us in was different from the one we booked and had no sewer even though we booked well in advance we were only staying for two nights basically so we didn't worry wbout that and it was only 28.50 per night ok...so that being said they told us they had fishing.....a pool....a store.....a game room.....things for kids to do...well upon check in everything was closed 8:30 pm ok so it was a late day and well over looked that...we asked about buying wood they said they were out till monday (the next morning) We asked about the Wifi they had...they said it was hit by lighting (which later we found out was a lie as one of the FEW people camping there told us two different ones actually that it has never worked they were local and go there weekends to camp and set up a seasonal there.) Fishing well if you could find the river / stream you would be in good shape maybe ...we never saw it. the store was closed....we asked the next day we called and got the owner she said the store would be closed that day cause she had to go to the doctors (which I really don't believe because that was told to me only after I complained) She originally told me they would be gone for the day.....and the pool would be closed cause they weren't there and the gameroom they only open on weekends.
Well all this being said we asked for a partial refund as none of the amenities we paid for were available...thats when I was told it was a doctors appt and we would not get a refund...she then hung up. Well bout 5 minutes later she called back and told me if we leave by 12 noon (it was 11:30 then) we would get back one night (which upon checking my bill I was charged twice anyway) Well thats not a refund I said but we will leave anyway rather then pay again for someone so rude. Needless to say I am still fighting with them and my CC company to get my money ....the over charge and the night retuen fee also!! I'm going to report them to woodalls and good sam for false advertising...and warn everyone I can about them. This is the only time we have ever had anything like this happen to us...but I can tell you it will be the last too.
