Has anyone went camping here and can you recommend a place we are thinking of heading here in aug or july but wanted to check on a place to go first

Beautiful area, you will love it if you like the mountains...We vacationed there in 2007. We stayed at Danforth Bay...a beautiful camping resort! Prices are not bad, sites are gigantic, free activities galore! A bit off the beaten path, but not a terrible ride to local attractions. http://www.thatscamping.com is a camping website that is based in New England and has lots of reviews on area campgrounds. Also, lots of great people on the forum there who are willing to give tips and advice about the area...Have a great trip!
