AC RV show tomorrow (3/7)
Possibly Yogi Elmer for Memorial day Weekend (waiting on a friend to see his schedule)
Hershey Highmeadow last week in June (first week of vacation)
Frontier Town OC Maryland last week in August (second week of vacation)
Probably a few mid week excursions here and there. Hard for me to do weekends because I MUST preach on Sunday mornings.

We are planning on going to Cherry Hill Park in early May, to Killens Pond in July, and Assateague in Sept. Those are all the definite trips with reservations already made. The rest of our trips will be (hopefully) lots of 3-4 day getaways to local state parks, i.e, Bass River, Parvin, and Bellplain. We are also going to try a few local CGs such as Seashore Campground a few times in their early season prior to the rates getting too high. Hope to be able to catch up with some others from this site if possible..All I know is that camping season cannot get here soon enough!

Would have been nice. I was there with my whole family. If you happened to notice two women and one man with three African American children, that was us!
What did you think of the show overall?

Actually I think I did see you. I was working in the Good Sam Booth helping a friend.. we were right after Andersons Brochure rack. I thought it was ok, good steady flow throughout Saturday and he said Sunday was just as busy. They usually have a LOT more units, that was semi-depressing. But sales were made and the dealers were happy.

Hmm, trade a motorhome for a 5th wheel? Sounds like the exact opposite of us, well at least my wife wants to trade our HTT for one. lol. A little windy for me today, I need to clean and wax the camper and spray some black paint around the hitch to cover some rust. Ugh, the joys of camping....lol

ok we have talked with several other people about joining up on the site (we should see a ew new members soon) but we need to make some concrete plans and we need a administrator badly that can keep things going.
I am looking into that as well so we can get this site moving along .....we had a very hard laast year with family members being sick and such but we are trying to get back on track.Last edited on Fri May 29th, 2009 01:00 pm by biggsbasement

Well we love our RV....I must say I never wanted a MH I always wanted a Fifth wheel because our plan was to get one in a couple years and do work camping and semi-retire I always felt as thougt the 5th wheels are much home-er like an apt or something...and I never much liked MH cause I think they don't have as much room plus I didn't want another motor as I said to maintain and I don't like having to watch the tv sideways when it sits up over the drivers area. It was always one of my pet peeves with campers and rv's they are great but most of the times they put the tv where when you sit on the couch you have to look to the far right or left to watch it......well that is a stiff neck for me I like to look straight on to my TV even though I hardly ever watch it. When we were looking one day (it was suppose to be at 5th wheels) but somehow the salesman started showing us MH (due to my husband I think)We went in this one....the floor plan is really different (most MH are very simular)this one is actually the most different setup for a MH that I have seen. It actually has an entertainment center in the livingroom area....and a sectional couch with an extra deep slide so when it opens up its a huge livingrom area and the TV is right in front of you basically. When i first saw it i said this is a MH i could live with.......hense the MH we now own because the minute the salesman and the hubby heard that they worked me till I broke Actually they gave us what I felt was a really good deal and we could do it right then rather then wait and it had everything we wanted (except a slide in the bedroom) but I can live with that as we aren't in there much anyway LOL I will be sorry to see it go but when we are ready we will get a 5th wheel next time ......I think LOL I think the true selling point on it was the little brass plaque over the Drivers area that said made especially for Henry and Margaret (I forgot the last name)march 31st 1999......well the day we looked at it was march 31st so i took it as an omen i was supose to get that MH. I will post some pictures of the inside soon
