I don't know about all of you, but I do not like trying new cgs...I guess because we've been burned in the past at new places.  Anyway, in two weeks, we are staying someplace new because my daughter is in a softball tournament and rather than drive back and forth all weekend, we decided to make a weekend out of it.  Well, it is an area we have never been to and I checked out the ratings on Woodalls and such, but I could not find any personal reviews.  Does anybody have any knowledge of Moyer's Grove Campground in Wapwallopen, PA?  Any info. would be appreciated...Thanks!!

Thanks for the info. My thoughts were that we are really not going to be there all that much anyway, so really it is a place to relax by the fire and sleep. Our older daughter played in a tournament last weekend, and it was torture driving back and forth (it was just over an hour one way). We left at 7:30 am and got back at 7:30 pm on Saturday and just about the same on Sunday. I tried to get a campsite for the weekend, but the nearest cg had no electric sites. As soon as we heard about this tournament, I was booking a site!!

Well, we survived!!  The campground was not too terribly bad.  I would definitely not rate it as a favorite, but I would return.  I would venture to bet that 90% of the campers are permanent sites and of those, more than half are Prowlers!!  We really felt like outsiders!!  Everybody that we met was super nice.  The cg is well maintained.  The biggest problem we had was that our site was very small.  We have a 31ft. camper and once we got it in the site, we had nowhere to park our truck!  No matter where we parked, we were either on one of the seasonal sites to the front and back of us, or hanging into the road.  They have a nice pool and sports field. The mini golf and boat rentals are only $1.00.  They had a nice pavilion and nice camp store.
