I know it is not nice to make fun of others but I have to share.

While camping and working in Myrtle Beach last month a funny thing happened.  I heard a bang when I was reading in bed after a long day.  I did not think much of it as the campground was relatively full.  The next morning my neighbors asked me if I heard the bang I said I did and did they know what it was.  Apparently they had placed cinder blocks under the legs of their very large 5th wheel toy hauler to save time when unhooking from the truck, of course they did not use the blocks properly and they gave way dropping the camper 8 inches to the ground.  The camper sleeping in the bed over the hitch was momentarily suspended in mid air during the decent and I think had to change her underwear .  I of course volunteered to help them get it jacked up when it was time to leave so that they could get the truck hooked up.   Fast forward 10 days and we had to rest the camper on the bed of the truck in order to lift the camper off the legs I was a little nervous about doing this but they said they have had to do this before.  NOW for the funny part was the look on there faces when I showed them how to extend the legs so that they would not need to use cinder blocks in the future.  They have been using the camper for a little over 4 years this way.

The moral of the story is to be sure the dealer shows you how to properly use your new camper before leaving the dealership.
