Tell us about your last campout. I will get things started. Our last campout was on the way home from TX. We stopped at Wales West Train and RV Resort. This campground is about 15 miles off of I10 in Silverhill AL. http://www.waleswest.com/ This is a pretty unique campground it that it has Two coal fired trains running through the campground as well as the surrounding woods. They have an in ground pool as well as a large pond with a swimming beach with playground for the kids. We did not swim in the pond as we arrived at about dinner time and left right after breakfast the next morning. After getting set up the kids hit the pool and I started dinner. There are now fire rings are the sites so after dinner is was bed and then had an early breakfast in the morning. We hit the road soon after breakfast and then headed for home. Ok now tell us about your last campout.

I'll go next. We went to a place in jackson, Nj. http://www.Tiptam.com We arrived Friday afternoon and was setup in about 20 minutes. Grabbed the kids and took a walk around. Found the campground was verey well set up for children. Lots to do, 2 pools, bocci, horseshoes, baseball field, two playgrounds, and Mini golf. Quiet time is from, I believe, 10pm to 8am. However, at 7am Saturday, there was a Septic truck pulling in the campground to empty the dump stations. It was a Halloween weekend so the activities were abuundant. Ceramics and other crafts. Trick-or-treating and a hayride in the afternoon and a dance at night with a DJ. Lots of teenagers walking around late that night. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that alot of kids rode their bikes through our site. Oh well, thats my weekend. Who's next?? Attachment: Picture 083.jpg (Downloaded 10 times)

We just came back from Gettyburg for vacation. Stayed at Gettysburg Campground just west of the town. Very nice place and I would certainly recommend it. I'll be writing a review for rvparkreviews.com and will cross post it here when I'm done. If you go try to get a streamside site - they're very nice. Only complaint would be the tree sap that covered everything, but the owners couldn't do anything about that unless they were willing to tear out all the trees and plant something that doesn't drop sap. Minor complaint really.
