It's cold. It gets dark early. I'm huddled up at home dreaming of next spring and camping again.

Hey Captain Bud since you are going to be in the area maybe we could get together while you are here. Some members of NEFLCC are having a campout at Huguenot Park the weekend of Jan 15th and again Feb. 12th at Suwanee River State Park. We would love for you to join us.

I hear you I hate the short cold days of winter.

Here is a little campfire to keep you warm untill the spring thaw.

Today we are going to Promise Land SP for 2 days on the maiden voyage. Yesterday we put the Truck camper on the truck. Let me tell you it sure isn't like hooking up the fifth wheel. Took awhile but it was only our first time since we left the dealer.

We do have a truck camper and have for the past 9 years.  We love it.

You will get used to loading and unloading before you know it, it will be second nature.

Everything went very well. We did have some rain but got in some kayaking and bicycling. Will be loading it up again this week. Hope it will go better. I know practice, practice, practice.
