We went to a nice one in the Cape May NJ Area. I believe the name of it was Beachcomer or something like that. Only about 5-6 miles to the beach, had a nice pool and very neat and well kept.

The kids had a good time too :) there were alot of activities for them and an arcade so they kept busy and I got some much needed R&R ;)

Whippoorwill is nice form what I hear and close to ocean city which has a great boardwalk and the best family atmosphere(my opinon) of the whole shore

We saw Whippoorwill and are thinking of trying that along with several others in that area.....I use to live in OC and grew up on those beaches and I love it there (plus a few good fishing spots near there;))

My daughter and I will be at Holly Shores CG this weekend. I'll post a review after we come back.

Our first trip in the new (to us) camper was to the Driftwood Camping Resort in Clermont. Mostly seasonals and we were there in late April so very few people at all. It seemed like it might be a nice place. Situated inland of Avalon.

I'll admit that I haven't seen a whole lot of campgrounds recently. We were out of the camping thing for a few years and our experience before that was almost completely with Outdoor World resorts. Still, Holly Shores was pretty good. Lots of transient sites and most seemed plenty wide and/or long for bigger rigs. I had no problems backing in my HTT and I'm still learning how to back well. Pool, kiddie pool and spa, plenty of weekend activities for families, fairly well-stocked store and decent prices added up to a good experience for my daughter and I this past weekend. About 50/50 seasonal to transient, and I couldn't tell who was who away from their sites. Most of the seasonals are at the back of the CG. Good location to Cape May and Wildwood. We'd go back again.
