Hello,
I found this site link through Good Sam, and thought I might stop by and check things out...
My husband, three girls (13, 11, & 9) and I love camping. We bought our first travel trailer in 2003 and loved it. Last March we upgraded and are quite happy with our new unit. We try to get out about every other weekend, unfortunately this year, we camped quite a bit in spring, but this past month we have had too many other commitments to get out. We usually camp with friends or family but would love to meet some new faces. Our oldest daughter always wants to bring a friend because our younger two are very close, it would be great to maybe be able to meet up with some other families with kids closer to her age.
Some of our favorite campgrounds are: Eagle's Peak, Locust Lake (state park), and Fort Whaley (for our yearly trip to MD).

Well, let's just say if you are ever at a cg and see a lady walking a few wiener dogs and some Jack Russell Terriers, it is probably me... We usually head down to Fort Whaley near the end of July. After having to cancel our June vacation this year, I will not book a vacation in June again. No matter what, we are going to MD. My hubby and my brother-in-laws enjoy going clamming. They drop us off on the beach on Assateague Island and head out to the bay for the afternoon. Last edited on Sat Jun 28th, 2008 03:59 am by wersilly

We have 4 dogs......a Sheltie and three pomapoo puppies (well they are bout a year old now so i guess they aren't really puppies anymore we also have one cat
We love them all but the catwon't go with us camping. As of late my mom has taken my Sheltie (everyone loves her and wants to take her all the time) and my brother has taken a liken to one of the poo's she just loves my little nephew so we have been letting her go with them
Last two times camping only had two dogs ...I felt kinda naked and didn't know what to do with myself LOL
