Hi everyone! We are a family of four from Central NJ (I am Meg, husband Brian, and DD (3 years old) and DS (18 months). We are looking to meet some families who have kids around our kids ages so they can have some fun while camping!! None of our friends camp, so it gets rather boring when you don't know anyone. I grew up where my whole family camped, so I always had cousins to hang out with.
We have recently just taken trips to Disney's Fort Wilderness, Lake Erie, Hershey Highmeadows, and Knoebels. We are hoping to get some more camping in before we winterize in November!

Thanks so much for the reply!! I am so happy to have found this group, as we would just love to meet new people who love to camp like us (with or without kids)!! None of our friends camp....unless you count the night where I had everyone pitch tents in my backyard for the Great American Campout! It was great, 24 kids under the age of 4 running around my house. LOL The kids had a blast, but I still can't convince their parents to do some real camping other than at home
Hope to meet up with you sometime in the future!!

Hi there..My DH and I are from the Cape May area and have been camping (tent and PU) for 20+ years since our kids were little. Last year we finally made the jump to a small TT and truly love it. We love camping at State parks in Jersey, and have been to Assateague as well. We love meeting up with our kids and grandkids for some swimming, biking and sitting round the campfire!. We hope to get in as many 3-4 day getaways as possible this season and are ANXIOUSLY awaiting warmer weather! This year we are going to take our grandkids to some of the local campgrounds and play the "tourist"..we are starting with the Seashore campground. Hope to get to meet some of you!

Hi to all, first post on this site. I'm Tom (strummer1) and wife is Marjie. We hail from South Jersey, just across the river from Philly. We both just retired, me from Sunoco oil refinery, Marjie from teaching Kindergarten(36yrs). We belong to Thousand Trails, Outdoor World so we do most of camping there. We did the Florida thing this past winter and Marjie said "this is the way to spend the winter" so i guess we'll be snowbirds from now on. we camp in a 30'Winnebago Sightseer.

Welcome! Where in Jersey are you from? I grew up in Palmyra, lived in Pennsauken and am now in Quinton (Salem county). Always looking for a few good friends to camp with.

Hi All, I had great difficulty registering, kept getting the message that I had entered the wrong security code. The problem was that I was blocking cookies from this site. My name is Earl, I live in the Pike Creek area of northern Delaware and am a solo camper. My wife isn't an outdoors type and refuses to join me in retirement so I just wander off happily all by myself. I recently got out of tents and into a little Aliner Scout. I removed everything from the interior and am remodeling it to meet my needs of a base camp from which to embark on my kayaking adventures. It should be ready for the road within a couple of weeks. I hope to find a place to park it on a riverbank somewhere in south Jersey's pine barrens or the Wharton Tract. See you out there, Earl
