If you haven't tried this ......you should

We love geocaching and don't get to do it enough but we plan on being more active with this again.

It really doesn't cost much money to get started and most people have car GPS's now and many of them will allow you to "geocache with them" although they are not always as accurate they do work my husband uses his while I use the hand held....we have had a couple years of fun with this and it cost us about 100.00 when we first started (got our handheld garmin at walmart on sale)

We take some kids with us and when we are camping it doesn't cost anything and keeps the kids busy for several hours "searching" ...it also teaches them about keeping the enviroment clean and helps as we have them pick up litter while looking. It is a great way to "help out" and in most cases they get a little prize for helping.

Anyone that might want more info on this let me know. You can also go to http://www.geocaching.com and read up on this as well.

We have had an very strange year and have not been able to do as much as we would normally due to family issues we feel we have neglected this site and other things as well and we are hoping to make this up and do some more things by years end.  The hubby is more or less laid off so he should have some more time to "help out " as well
